My favorite non-magical item was a set of masterwork medical tools that my cleric PC recovered when the party was clearing out a necromancer's former townhouse.
This was in the old Iron Kingdom's D20 setting, where magical healing was a bit more restricted. So anything that could help with regular medicine was much appreciated.
Basically, whatever really helps with my character's job tends to become my favorite non-magic item. The tools of his trade, if you will. :)
