More goodies for Gencon.
The Olympia Campaign Setting can be the home of any number of monsters and creatures you can imagine.
These lizardfolk come from Privateer Press.

Note These minis were painted in the summer of 2020. This post stayed on my draft-stash since.
When I painted the Barovian army for Strahd, I had some additional undead forces (pistol wraiths and a necromancer). These guys come from the Widower's Wood set for Hordes.
These dudes look pretty evil. I like the flames on their heads. Reminds me of Hades in the Hercules Disney movies. They look pretty cool in green and yellow.
I may not play Warmachine anymore: no time, no players, but I still really enjoy the look of their minis. I will be re-using a bunch of them for upcoming FOE projects. This is not really one of them. I just like the character.
I pretty much painted her the same as my other two versions of her.
Now I do not like this sculpt very much. I am not really a fan of scenic bases and this one you have no choice but to use.
Anyone playing Mercenaries in Warmachine knows of Eyriss, this mage hunter character. This mage-slayer has been a terror to both main and backup casters.
Way back when, I painted this model and it has been a staple of any armies since. Well... at least when I played.
This version of Eyriss is no longer a member of the Mercenary faction, but has returned to her home among the elves of Ios and of the Retribution.
I must admit to preferring the earlier model rather than this newer plastic one. The dynamism is gone.
More long-painted models I put this here. I purchased these models and they were already converted at the time. When I bought them, I planned on using them for Starfinder or something like that. However, since I have yet to find something to play Sci-Fi games I like (I really need to dig into Esper Genesis), they merely gather dust under the TV...
I like these models and the "stormtrooper" pattern I did them in, which is the standard color scheme Privateer Press gives them.
Another old picture of a character I did a while ago. This is a Legion of Everblight Proteus.
This creature - and many of its brothers - has a future in the upcoming "Greek setting". I have been working with Roberto on this as we exchange ideas and now I need to sit down and write it. More on that in a different post...
Another one I painted long ago and used a couple of times in games. I got this monster from one the Widower's Wood pack I think.
I used Beetlejuice as an inspiration for its color scheme.
I painted these guys almost two years ago from the Hordes Unleashed RPG. This is a small band of Farrow (boarmen). I do not really have a use for them in most of my game so I may just sell them. I don't know... I still like their sculpts.

This is a Cryx Seether I painted a while ago. One thing I did was not to put all the spikes atop the frame to reveal the glowing green beneath.
I originally thought about using it with Starfinder. I had a partial setting idea that would require a number of dreadnaught/ warjacks. However, as I gave up on that game, the idea just went stale... When I think of a scifi game that excites me, I'll roll that one out.
This is a collection of goblin pirates I got from the Undercity box game by Privateer Press. I got the game at a big discount and while I've no interest in playing the actual game, the miniatures themselves is what I bought the game for.
I added the necessary banner because... well how would people know you are a pirate without a black banner? These minis being plastic makes it so converting is not a major worry...
Plus... I mean... Pirates..

Here is a mob of city guards. These guys are from Croe's Cutthroat set, but I got this mob from the Undercity game. I am not overly impressed with the crispness of the details, so I opted to paint them in three groups of six.
These guys will serve as guards and all-purpose soldiers.
This is a guy I got from the Undercity game. I am not interested in the game itself, but it was well-worth the minis! I will be posting more of them in the coming days.
This one is the special edition Skarre from 2015 or 2016. I got it at Gencon. I converted this one to use various bits instead of the stack of barrels she came with.
The Facebook mega-lot continues! Here is another Skarre-1 from it. The Pirate Queen is a model I painted a few times before, represented below how I did her in 2014, 2013, and 2012!
This latest one got the pale white skin I gave to the Satyxis raiders from the same lot. She was done to fit in with the raiders. I really like this model for its simplicity and clean, effective lines.
Which one do you prefer?
Kryssa is the newest member of the Legion warlocks. I don't like my work on this one. It's effective but I just could not feel inspired by her.
